Location. Staff are friendly. room is very large
Poor lighting in the rooms Musty and worn carpetting Generally belies expectations of a 3 star hotel. More a budget lodge at three star prices

Location is great
Hotel is very known, it's all past time. Hotel is old, expensive, no Internet in rooms, old tv, air conditioned is controlled with doors. After even staying in budget hotels around India this is far the least convenient regarding value for money.

The warmth was something which could not be missed. It was really "Service with a smile!". The staff was very friendly and cooperative. Rooms were well designed and comfortable. Location of the hotel is really convinient. Overall it was a great value for money. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thanks
1) The balconies need a coat of paint. 2) Bedroom and bathroom slippers to be provided.

The staff here was excellent. They were extremely helpful with arranging taxis to get around the city, and accommodated all of my requests and needs.
There is no wireless internet. You can rent a plug-in for your laptop, or use the hotel's computer.

The staff gave me a upgrade at no cost, and were polite when asked to bring anything to the room.
Hot water needed to be turned on 30min before taking a shower, and internet was a failure, no wi-fi, no business center.

The spacious room and the balcon
The lamps in the room were not very good. If I wanted to read at night the reading lamp was lighting the whole room up, so my companion could not sleep at all.

Has a quaint Indian charm, in good location, staff friendly.
No major problems, would be good if it had internet access, either cable or WiFi

Hotel location is good and staffs were also very kind. Rooms were old, but well maintained. Food service and quality was good. However, coffee/tea/water was very expensive.

The only thing was the location
This hotel was doing loud and major renovations through the night which I could not understand. When I complained they told me it was just for one night but after no sleep I checked out. As a customer this is unacceptable that they choose to do it through the night and not the daytime Never would I stay here or recommend this hotel to anyone

Location of the hotel is good and the staff were friendly, but that's where the advantages end. Avoid this place until they modernise. The pricess are way too high for the level of services offered.
- The room was smelly - there was an overwhelming smell of mouldy carpet and everything was damp. We could not stand it and this was the main reason we left after just one night (we booked for 2). We did stay there in the monsoon season, but other hotels did not have that problem. - There was a lot of noise in the room. The hotel uses a huge generator for airconditioning all the rooms. That generator works 24h and even though its outside we could hear the humming all the time. And no, you can't turn off the A/C. - Breakfast was minimal and bad. We got some cold toasts and old fruit - The hotel interrior (corridors) gives a bit of run-down appearance. There is mould on the walls in places and paint is chipping from the walls
